CEC AT ST. MARY'S BASILICA

“Taste and that the lord is good” (Ps 34:8). Yes indeed the Lord is good to all !

In order to experience Our Lord’s goodness, thousands of people, irrespective of their caste,creed and religion, flock to divine places like Infant Jesus Church and St. Mary’s Basilica.

To lead and guide people in the right path, the Catholic Enquiry Centre (CEC), based above Infant Jesus Shrine, carries out powerful evangelization work, under the guidance of His Grace, Most Rev. Dr. Bernard Moras and CEC Directress, Rev. Sr. C.L. Clare,dsp.

I would like to share my experience in evangelization at St. Mary’s Basilica in 2011, during the festive season of Mother Mary’s birthday.

With the constant support of Sr. Clare, we set up a stall in the Church premises, from 29th August to 8th September. Thousands of people came to find out all about Jesus and the work CEC does. We Provided Bible study material and free Bible Correspondence Courses in English, Tamil and Kannada, to people of other faiths. Almost hundred ‘Enquirers’ enrolled for the Courses.

I would like to thank Sr.Clare for giving me this opportunity to speak about the goodness of our Lord. The more I speak about Him, the more I am drawn towards His mercy and goodness.

Indeed, I feel very blessed to be a part of CEC and look forward to many more such wonderful experiences.
