MESSAGE OF GOD'S LOVE

At the Catholic Enquiry Centre (CEC). We experience the joy of reaching out to hundreds of people, many belonging to other faiths, to spread the great message of God’s love for us, His children.

HOLY SPIRIT AND YOU

Dear Child of God, I request you to lift your hearts to God and join me as I pray: Loving Father, pour out your abundant LOVE into the hearts of the reader and the hearers through the Holy Spirit, whom you have given as your gift to us. Dear Holy Spirit, fill them with divine wisdom to know and love you. In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.

CEC SUNDAY 2013 AT OUR LADY OF LOURDES CHURCH,HALASURU - CULTURAL PROGRAMME

A pantomime with the theme “Catholic Enquiry Centre, A Tower of Pentecost against the Tower of Babel,” by the Youth of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, was the highlight of the cultural programme organized on the occasion of Catholic Enquiry Sunday – 2013, at the Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Cambridge Road, Halasuru, on Sunday, July 14, 2013.

To the accompaniment of singing, dancing and music, the actors depicted and portrayed various passages from the Bible, beginning with St. John’s (Ch: 1 1-5, 11-14) “In the beginning was the Word…”

Speaking at the cultural event, the Archbishop echoed the words of the Holy Father (Pope Francis) that evangelisation is a mission of the church and that it was not limited to just a few. “It is mine and yours,” he said, underscoring the Biblical injunction, “Woe to me if I don’t preach the Gospel.”

Sr. Clare, then gave a gist of the 36th Annual Report. A prayer dance by the OLL Youth Group and a short skit by the ICPE members, called Adonais were also a part of the cultural fare.

Mrs. Lalita Menezes a Co-Worker at CEC proposed a vote of thanks, which was followed by a photo session of the CEC members, the final blessings of the Archbishop and a fellow lunch at the school quadrangle.
