CEC SUNDAY 2013 AT OUR LADY OF LOURDES CHURCH,HALASURU - EUCHARIST

Just as Jesus said, “Go into all the world and proclaim the Good news to the whole of creation,” the Catholic Enquiry Centre of Bangalore, under the charge of the Daughters of St. Paul (dsp), has been spreading the message of Christ year after year in all parishes of the city, in turns.



On Sunday, 14th July, 2013 the Our Lady of Lourdes Church on Cambridge Road, Halasuru, became the venue of CEC SUNDAY – 2013.

That Sunday, the church premises were filled with people in their best attire and there was an air of anticipation and excitement.



The Mass got off to a start as the Archbishop intoned the words, “In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” The sermon on the day’s Biblical theme, “Turn to the Lord I’m your need, and you will live.”

The Mass ended with the giving of the Communion, accompanied by the hymn “Jesus is at the centre of it all.” The 36th Annual Report of the CEC was released by the Archbishop and Sr. Clare, after which Fr. J. Arockianathan, gave a short introduction of the CEC and it’s members renewed their promises. Sr. Clare finally proposed a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the Archbishop and the celebrants and invited the gathering to a cultural programme at the school hall.
